Aside from the "Altec" app not working 100% of the time, this speaker is great! Some songs had my board vibrating from this thing and it was only at half volume most of the time. Unfortunately, the LED feature can only be used in shaded areas or at night and can't be seen during broad daylight.

Just buy it.
So I wasn’t sure what to expect, since this is my first time trying a Altec Lansing speaker. All I CAN say is WOW. This Rockbox XL 2.0 is AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT! I don’t usually listen to music through headphones, because I’ll use a speaker instead. It’s a really awesome shape, size, it’s WATERPROOF! And the sound and the bass is just everything you could ask for. BBQ, birthday parties, remodeling a house, get one to listen to your music. I cannot stress enough how awesome this speaker is.

Clean, Crisp, Clear sound!
This Altec Lansing Bluetooth sound system packs a punch. The speakers provide awesome clear sound from both sides of the box! The box is lightweight, has easy grip handlebar, and it has a light feature that allows you to choose color schemes, or light that changes to the beat. The really attractive feature is the fact that this box can get wet! We keep it poolside and it gets splashed on all the time with no issues. The sound quality is the best, way above the average!

I recently got the Altec Lansing Rockbox XL and me and my grandsons love it . It is easy for all of us to use and we love how good it sounds and they love the colors it changes when we listen to music.I would recommend this to anyone it is a great find

Awesome features and decent audio quality!
First off, let me start by saying this was a lot larger than I originally expected in terms of size. I love the premium rubberized feel on the handle and exterior, and I appreciate the waterproof feature of this speaker. The lights are really cool as well, especially because you can set it to work with the music or audio you are listening to, so it moves with the music. There are a total of 5 different lighting patterns/modes. The audio quality is really good too and can get pretty loud. I appreciate that you don't have to have it plugged in, and it can simply recharge with a wall outlet. Love this speaker and will be using it as my main outdoor speaker from here on out.

Ultimate Party Speaker
This speaker is great. The size is large enough to produce a really top notch sound but small enough to be portable and easy to move. It is easy to set up, only having four buttons. The sound quality is super clear and the bass really rocks out. I love the light feature and different modes. You can have steady lights, slow changing and even lights that change with the beat of the music. The charge lasts a long time also.

Waterproof speaker
This speaker jams. Set up next to the pool it didn't have any issues. Works again and again after being wet or in the heat. Sand hasn't seem to bother it any. Really happy with this products look and easy ability to carry around if need be. Able to hook onto it for it to float. This speaker is medium to large in size.

Great rockbox
I like that this rockbox was easy to use straight from the box, just charge, turn on, pair bluetooth devices, and rock! The rockbox is well balanced and comfortable to lug around. The app is not necessary to make this sound system work! The lights add a nice party ambiance, my favorite is the rainbow variety. The sound is clear and can fill a room. Overall, this is a slick rockbox sound system!

Wow! The clear & loud sound is a party in a box.
Wow!!! This Rockbox is all you will ever need for you music enjoyment. It’s clear even on full blast. It sounds like a major party when on the loudest setting. I’m thrilled with this! The handle makes it so easy to carry. The features are amazing. It has led lights that change color to the music or you can set them. It has a USB charger for your phone so you never run out of Bluetooth music. It runs on one charge for up to 20 hours. There’s even an app for it to control lighting, volume and music. It is great for the boat, the beach or poolside because it is waterproof. If dropped in pool it will float! I put it on in my backyard and put it on full blast while my husband said he could still hear it three blocks away! Now that’s a party! I highly recommend this. The lights at night are really fun. It’s triangle shaped and the sound comes from both sides.
