Creality K1 Speedy 3D Printer

In the first 24 hours I've had nothing but problems. The extruder clogged twice and I had to take the extruder out and take it apart to fix it. While trying to put it back in the wires in the connector were so loose they came out while I was trying to put it back into the female connector. This printer is crap.

I purchased the K1 for fast printing, and it was working very well for about a week Then the system gave me problems the extruder kept jamming and not pulling the filament properly, The printer is not operational until the part replacement, and it has been over a month since pourtchase. I'm very disappointed with my purchase because I haven't been printing since the parts failed.

It was difficult to get it mated to my phone . Had to go through the entire procedure at least 10 times . Aside from the boat , it wouldn’t print anything successfully. 600 worth of useless junk . Not happy at all

It would appear that Creality is deleting my negative comments. I posted a 1 star review on June 9th which has magically gone missing. So I'm going to speed run the recap. Extruder started failing within 24hrs, I emailed Creality. No response until I posted the negative review (which again is now missing). Each response has days between them and include comments like (did you try printing slower?) or (did you use Creality Brand filament?). The procrastination is evident. They don't like RMAs and they don't like giving refunds. Machine won't extrude now unless I assist the feed by hand from the back (Yes the extruder lock is shut). I won't even push plastic now from a simple "extrude test command". Complete fail. I'm fully expecting this review to be deleted and I'm now timing how long it takes them and documenting it.

i have never ever used a 3d printer before so i was a bit nervous. out of the box the k1 was beautiful, i was impressed. took me about 45 minutes or so to get it all set up and running. i printed out the lil boat thing and it came out near perfect.. i was impressed. i own a bakery so i decided to make a bunch of cookie cutters. they all came out beautifully. and this thing is fast. i absolutely love it!!! best purchase ever

Worked great for 2 weeks then I got a 111 error. Replaced motherboard, hotend and hotend card. No luck. 6 weeks and lots of part swapping later still not working. Hoping to exchange for a new one.

I'm pretty new to 3d printing. I originally bought an Ender 3 V3 SE and it was great but I wanted to be able to print with ABS so I upgraded to a K1. It has been amazing. I had an issue with the hotend but when I looked online I quickly found that it was the original design so I got the new version and all my issues went away. ABS prints fabulously. Hyper PLA is amazingly fast. I printed the Benchy straight off the preloaded file without even re-slicing for the different filament types. You can see how clean in the photo and its a mix of PLA, Hyper PLA, Cr-Wood, ABS, and super inexpensive generic PLA. Hint the brown one is wood. ABS printing has been fabulous, very clean. I'm currently designing some small tooling items for assembly. Iteration is super fast. Print, fit, check and re-design all in a matter of minutes. I finish the cad re-design and go check the next model. Wireless dump onto the printer and back to work. I've changed the hinges to get the door out of the way and the Mods were super easy, Great community support. My room is very cold so I added a filament warmer but I've really only needed it twice when there was a very cold draft in the room. Overall a fantastic buy. I've been 3d printing less than three months. Already Printed a dozen different models just today. I'm dropping the longer prints on to run overnight. Most of My prints are small and anything bigger I'm segmenting and plan on working out Assembly.. I bought a few different sizes of magnets for embedded use. Pause the print, drop the magnets into the pocket and resume. So many possibilities and so easy to explore. If you're looking for productivity straight out of the Box, This is the printer for you. Great performance, Great support, Fantastic community involvement. Repeatable solid printing.

amazing printer when it works. i am on my 3rd hot end, failing heaters. 1st the stock, then the booster kit with the new extruder, and now i am using the spare from my k1 max. the booster hotend lasted 28 days. support says to check the voltage selector. been using it for a few months, duh. i told support that i fixed the heating error by installing the spare from my max and i needed to get a new one in warranty. they have ceased all communications with me.
