Well this turned up without
Well this turned up without the button lights working, the lights on the stick are okay but not on the buttons. That’s bad quality control.

An excellent release and great value for money
Absolutely stunning HOTAS, and works like a dream on the PC. So much functionality and the pro - aim is a game changer on fighting Sims. On Xbox, well it works great on Flight simulator, really responsive axis, the most accurate I've used and the feel is a dream... However that's about the only thing it's intuitive for and other flight games leave much to be desired. I doubt previous titles will update their input profiles because of dwindling playerbases, but it would be good to see some profiles added to the flight stick for titles that could mimic existing HOTAS of different makes/models. Speaking of X input, I don't know why they mapped xinput buttons to B5, B10 and B6 instead of B16, B17 and B18. It would make it more intuitive if on combat Sims, like Star Wars Squadrons, if the trigger was mappable to fire weapons. Again hopefully in future firmware updates they could add profiles for different games. Even if they could open these buttons to be mapped as a standard Xbox controller would be a huge step forward. The stick was advertised as being compatible with titles other than MSFS but not so much in its current release state, so bear this in mind if purchasing solely for Xbox. The touchpad for mouse control works, but it is a bit fiddle some, but does come in handy for some functions and can be disabled when you don't want it on (Just turn sensitivity to Zero). The angle of the hand grip with the supplied grub screw is a bit off as it hurts your resting finger at the front of the control after a while...would have preferred something flush with a hex key or screw as the adjustment probably isn't going to be made that regularly. Aside from those caveats, the stick is excellent value for money and has so much potential to do more (I'm sure there will be more coming from the developers). It is one of the best looking, responsive HOTAS on the market (in price range) and with so many features like Bluetooth, headset input and two additional USB ports for extra (upcoming?) equipment to be connected this is a no brainer. I'm really looking forward to see how the V1 Flightstick progresses because it could absolutely claim the market for semi professional HOTAS enthusiasts on PC and Xbox.
